I never set out to write a book. To be honest, I never planned to become a knitter either — so this project is a pretty good reminder that you never really know where life will take you. I started knitting in January 2020, when a yarn shop called Woolpoint opened in Prague. At the time, I was simply a customer. What’s next for Babu Knitworks?
Babu Knitworks isn’t a big studio or a full-time business — it’s a slow, personal project that grows alongside real life. Here’s what I’m focusing on in the coming months. I’m currently revising my older knitting patterns. For now, they’re available on Ravelry, but my plan is to gradually offer selected patterns here on the website as well, once the updated versions are ready. I’m also reaching out to yarn shops around the world to see whether they might be interested in stocking my book.
