Socks should be made with 2–4 cm (0.8–1.6 in) negative ease. Sample shown in size 1 worn on size EU 40–41 (25 cm / 10 in) feet with 23 cm (9 in) circumference.
Height from cast on edge to top edge of the heel: 16.5 cm (6.5 in)
Foot length: adjustable

Gauge
32 sts and 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) in Chart 2 pattern worked in the round on 3.00 mm (US 2.5) needles for colorwork, washed and blocked

Yarn Requirements
213 (238, 268) m / 234 (262, 295) yd / 50 (56, 63) g fingering weight sock yarn in color A
146 (165, 183) m / 160 (180, 200) yd / 40 (45, 50) g fingering weight yarn (preferably sock yarn, though I used Dyed in the Wool which is not your typical sock yarn) in color B

Note: Yardage is given for size EU 40–41 (25 cm / 10 in).

Needles
2.00 mm (US 0) circular needles, with 80–100 cm (32–40 in) cable for magic loop, for heels and toes
2.25 mm (US 1) circular needles, with 80–100 cm (32–40 in) cable for magic loop, for the hem
3.00 mm (US 2.5) circular needles, with 80–100 cm (32–40 in) cable for magic loop, for the colorwork
