Needles
- 3.00 mm (US 2.5) circular, 40 cm / 16 in cable for the hem
- 3.50 mm (US 4) circular, 40 cm / 16 in) cable for the hat (or you can use longer cable for magic loop method)
- 3.50 mm (US 4) DPNs (or you can use longer cable for magic loop method) for the decreases at the end.
Yarn
- One 100g skein of fingering weight yarn for both Basilisk mitts and hat (35 grams / 130 m / 145 yd for the mitts, 65 grams/ 240 m / 267 yd for the hat)
